‘State of the Florida Cannabis Industry Today and Tomorrow’ Panel Will Feature Sally Kent Peebles

On Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 4:20 p.m. ET, The Cannabis LAB will host a webinar centered around the current state of the cannabis industry in Florida.
Vicente LLP’s Florida-based partner Sally Kent Peebles will be joined by a panel of cannabis industry leaders to dive into the specifics of the past and present conditions of the Sunshine State’s medical cannabis program. Panelists will also discuss their predictions about the future of Florida’s cannabis industry following the recent round of licensing applications.

About Sally Kent Peebles
Sally Kent Peebles is a partner in Vicente LLP's Florida office, where she focuses her practice on corporate law, commercial real estate, and regulatory matters. Sally is a leading voice on cannabis law and policy in Florida. In 2019, she was appointed to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services' Medical Cannabis Advisory Committee, which provides advice and recommendations to the department regarding policies and guidance on medical cannabis issues and patient needs and concerns. In 2021, Sally co-founded the nonprofit organization, WISE Florida, which aims to build support for legalizing and regulating cannabis for adult use in Florida.
