Pioneering Cannabis Law in Massachusetts
Meg has been practicing law in Massachusetts for over ten years and has dedicated each day of her career to helping clients navigate complex legal issues to achieve optimal results. As a litigator, she has counseled and defended attorneys from legal malpractice and related claims, leading them through the judicial process with both empathy and strategic acumen to achieve just results. In 2016, when adult-use cannabis was on the ballot in Massachusetts, Meg recognized the opportunity to serve a broader scope of clients in this emerging marketing and quickly established herself as a leader in this area of the law by publishing articles on how shifting cannabis laws impact myriad practice areas for attorneys, including insurance, banking, tax law, municipal law, employment law, the professional rules of conduct, and state licensing initiatives.
Navigating the Complexities of Cannabis Licensing
In 2019, Meg joined Vicente LLP, the nation’s premier cannabis and psychedelics law firm, where her practice focuses on guiding clients through the state licensing application process, land use and zoning requirements, and regulatory and compliance matters. A consummate team player, Meg enjoys collaborating with cannabis entrepreneurs and other professionals involved in the licensing process—including engineers, architects, and local officials—in order to gain an in-depth understanding of her clients’ ambitions.
