VS Attorney Jennifer Cabrera to Facilitate Cannabis Workshop in New Jersey

New Jersey's Department of Health received nearly 200 applications for new medical marijuana businesses in its 2019 Request for Applications. And talk in Trenton is that an adult-use cannabis program could be passed by the legislature later this year. Interested in understanding more about this industry and how it may unfold? Or just curious about the medical marijuana program?  
 
This program will cover the current state of cannabis in New Jersey, including NJ’s Request for Applications (RFA) for medical marijuana businesses, its plans for broader legalization, and lessons NJ can learn from states with more mature cannabis markets. 
 
Who should enroll: All members of the public, including professionals, entrepreneurs, students and local government officials, are invited to enroll and gain clarity into this rapidly changing industry.

This three-hour workshop will be facilitated by VS attorney Jennifer Cabrera, with guest speakers Rani Soto, Founder of Brote, and attorney Michael McQueeny, Chair of Genova Burns LLC Cannabis Practice Group in the Firm's Newark, NJ office.
