The U.S. Virgin Islands has launched a competitive, merit-based cannabis licensing process this summer. However, there are limited licenses available and strict restrictions on residency and other key parameters. This is leaving many potential applicants with a myriad of questions regarding exactly how they can get licensed to operate a cultivation, manufacturing or retail cannabis operation on St. Croix, St. Thomas or St. John.
