Vicente Sederberg Ranked Top Cannabis Law Firm by Chambers and Partners

Apr 23, 2020

Vicente Sederberg was once again recognized by Chambers and Partners as a top cannabis law practice in the U.S., and three of the firm's partners were individually ranked among the nation's top cannabis attorneys.

The 2020 edition of the prestigious legal directory gave VS a Nationwide Band 1 ranking in its Cannabis Law section, highlighting our unique role as a firm that specializes in the cannabis sector. The Chambers editors also noted:

Clients cite being impressed "with their capabilities, their breadth of knowledge and their ability to help clients navigate through complex and sensitive issues."

A commentator says: "They have a national reach and have subject matter experts on anything to do with cannabis."

A source notes: "They are top quality, very thorough and in tune with the industry and marketplace as well as federal and state by state regulations."

This is the second time VS has received a Band 1 ranking from Chambers, which created its Cannabis Law section last year.

VS founding partner Brian Vicente was ranked in Band 1 of Chambers' individual rankings, while founding partner Christian Sederberg and partner Charles Alovisetti were both ranked in Band 2. According to the Chambers editors:

Brian Vicente is a leading light in the cannabis market, where his practice focuses on assisting clients with license and permit applications. Sources describe him as "extremely hard-working," with one noting that "if we have an issue or an application he will jump in and lend his perspective at the highest of levels."

A pleased client reports that Charles Alovisetti "has the pulse on everything, there is never a question he cannot answer or understand." His practice focuses on the regulations affecting cannabis businesses, including those engaging in cross-border M&A.

Christian Sederberg is known for his considerable contribution to the state of Colorado's regulatory environment. Commentators describe him as "a great lawyer" and "a good sounding-board for the industry."
