Vicente Partner Jerrico Perez to Speak at PLI’s Cannabis Legal Conference

Vicente LLP partner Jerrico Perez will be speaking at the upcoming Practising Law Institute (PLI) Cannabis: Legal and Business Fundamentals conference. 

This event, which will take place both online and in person in San Francisco on April 29, 2025, will examine the legal and operational issues facing cannabis businesses today, focusing on regulatory compliance, risk management, litigation, and intellectual property.  

Jerrico will be speaking as part of the session on the Current Legal Cannabis Landscape: An Overview, which will guide participants across the state of cannabis regulations in the U.S. After completing this session, participants will be able to: 

  • Compare key states with regulated cannabis markets and hemp cannabinoid markets. 

  • Understand the state legalization process, licensing structure, and regulatory regimes. 

  • Analyze the impact of litigation in the state hemp cannabinoid space.
