On November 11, 2025, Vicente LLP Minnesota-based partner Jason Tarasek and senior associate Yolanda Clarke will participate in the Indigenous Cannabis Industry Association (ICIA) Policy Summit in Washington, D.C.
This annual summit brings together policymakers, attorneys and Indigenous business leaders to discuss the future of Tribal communities.
Jason will join the Federal and Tribal Legislative Updates panel to discuss new federal and Tribal laws shaping the cannabis landscape, highlighting how tribes are asserting sovereignty in cannabis regulation.
Later in the day, both Jason and Yolanda Clarke will speak on the Future of Cannabis in Minnesota, offering insight into how Minnesota’s Tribal nations are approaching legalization, partnerships and community-centered policies under the state’s evolving cannabis framework.
