Colorado's recent decriminalization of ibogaine, a natural psychedelic drug, sheds light on its therapeutic capabilities for PTSD and addiction. A Stanford study has demonstrated encouraging initial results, with veterans treated with ibogaine experiencing significant improvement in cognitive function.

New Psychedelic Bill Introduced in California to Permit Access to Psychedelic Therapy

The bill would set up a board of psychedelic facilitators to oversee the program. The program seems to be similar to Colorado, except there are no personal use provisions and the bill includes the addition of MDMA as a potential substance. Click here to read more.

A New Collective Statement from the Curanderos and Curanderas of North Peru

The Huachuma Collective, a Peru-based nonprofit association that cares for the bio-cultural sustainability of the San Pedro Cactus (Huachuma), recently released a statement calling “on practitioners of San Pedro ceremonies in Peru and around the world to stop using wild San Pedro and instead start cultivating the plant en masse from cuttings and seeds.” 

Huachuma Collective is raising funds to build their wild seed bank, establish a nursery, and plant 100,000 San Pedro seeds in Peru. Donate now to support their efforts.
