Minnesota Attorney Jason Tarasek to Highlight Important Cannabis Law Updates at Real Estate Institute

Jason Tarasek, a partner at Vicente LLP and industry leader in cannabis regulation and legal real estate matters, will present at the 2025 Real Estate Institute during a breakout session designed for real estate attorneys. The conference, part of the Minnesota Continuing Legal Education programming, will be held in Saint Paul and will cover what attorneys and real estate professionals need to know about how cannabis laws affect property transactions and compliance. 

About the Conference 

The 2025 Real Estate Institute seminar is one of Minnesota’s top continuing legal education (CLE) events for real estate lawyers and professionals. It will be held October 23-24, 2025, at the Saint Paul RiverCentre. If you cannot attend in person, the event will offer an online replay on November 20, 2025.  

Attendees can expect dozens of sessions on various real estate topics. Jason’s cannabis law presentation offers valuable guidance for attorneys who need to stay informed about new regulations shaping Minnesota’s real estate market. 

Jason’s session titled “Top 10 Things Real Estate Attorneys Need to Know About Minnesota’s New Cannabis Laws & Regulations,” will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Breakout Session E.  He will cover key changes and issues attorneys face under the new cannabis laws in Minnesota and how real estate transactions are affected.  

Minnesota has been swiftly updating its cannabis laws in recent years. Understanding how those laws affect property use, land deals, leasing, and compliance is vital for industry professionals. This session aims to clarify these matters and make them applicable to legal practice.
