Michelle Bodian Will Discuss Connecticut Cannabis Licensing and Regulatory Updates at Xpocanna Cannabis Convention

Mar 15, 2023

On Saturday, March 25, 2023, Vicente partner Michelle Bodian will take the stage at the Xpocanna Connecticut Cannabis Expo in Uncasville, Connecticut. Michelle’s presentation, “Preparing Your Cannabusiness for Connecticut’s Market in 2023” will begin promptly at 3:45 p.m. ET.

Connecticut’s cannabis industry has been on a roll the past year, quickly transitioning to an adult-use market only 1.5 years after legalizing. Over 37,000 cannabis business license applications were submitted in the first round of lotteries and adult-use sales officially launched in January 2023.

Are you ready to jump into this market? Attend this session for reflections on the Nutmeg State’s 2022 licensing lottery process, guidance for applying in 2023, and insight into what might be coming during this year from the legislature, Dept of Consumer Protection, and the Social Equity Council.

Session objectives:

  • Understand the licensing process and how to ensure you gather and upload the required documents correctly
  • Identify why and how to keep up to date with regulatory changes
  • Review changes that might be coming during the 2023 legislative session and regulatory updates from DCP and SEC
  • Explain changes that may result from the license application lawsuits
