Cannabis Leaders Discuss Local Opportunities at Denver Business Journal Event

At the Denver Business Journal's second Business of Cannabis event, Jordan Wellington and the other panelists discussed the new legislation that was recently signed by Governor Polis and what it means for Colorado cannabis companies and ancillary businesses.
When discussing the cannabis "brain drain" concerns, Jordan said:
“Our businesses are strong and have been through the rigors of regulation and competition not seen in other states. The question is how do you leverage that to say to companies, ‘You want to put yourself in Colorado.’ We have a deep talent pool of folks to draw from today that are leaving the state. Hopefully, we can start getting startups to form here.”
