Vicente LLP Attorneys Earn 2026 Best Lawyers® Honors Nationwide, Including “Lawyer of the Year”
BOSTON, DENVER, JACKSONVILLE, LOS ANGELES, MINNEAPOLIS and NEW YORK — Twelve attorneys from national cannabis, psychedelics, and emerging industries law firm Vicente LLP earned recognition in the 2026 edition of the Best Lawyers® lists, one of the legal profession’s most respected peer-review publications. Denver once again stood out with multiple partners featured in the 2026 Best Lawyers in America® list. Founding partner Brian Vicente marked his sixth consecutive appearance for his work in Cannabis Law, Corporate Law, and Government Relations Practice. Joshua Kappel, also a founding partner, secured his fourth recognition in Cannabis Law and received the 2026 “Lawyer of the Year” title in that category for Denver, Colorado. Partner Shawn Hauser was honored in Cannabis Law for the fourth year running.
In Boston, partner Adam Fine earned another Best Lawyers in America® distinction for Administrative / Regulatory Law, alongside Philip C. Silverman, who reached his sixth year of recognition for Land Use & Zoning Law.
From the Jacksonville office, partner Sally Kent Peebles continued her streak with a fourth consecutive listing for Real Estate Law.
In Minneapolis, partner Jason Tarasek was named to the Best Lawyers in America® list for the first time for his work in Cannabis Law. While in New York, partner Brandon Kurtzman celebrated his third consecutive recognition in Cannabis Law.
