Sara Simons is a compliance program coordinator at Vicente LLP. She is responsible for supporting the firm’s regulatory compliance-related programs and projects, including organization and standardization of compliance materials, and facilitating compliance support with Vicente LLP’s team and clients.
Prior to joining Vicente LLP, Sara’s work experience primarily encompassed all things quality records and assurance in regulated environments and community/customer-serving organizations. She has experience in document control, inventory management, production planning and scheduling, and quality systems roles for organizations working with human cells, tissues, or cellular or tissue-based products (HCT/Ps), medical devices, research biomaterials, organ donation, and even a public library district.
Sara currently holds certification with the American Society for Quality and previously with the Association for Supply Chain Management, and has developed skills with utilizing continuous quality improvement and lean manufacturing tools/techniques.
Sara is particularly passionate about plants (from botany to propagation to wildcrafting) and completed the Certified Herbalist program at Denver's Herbalism Roots school. She is excited to work for Vicente LLP in a role that helps ensure the incredible powers of cannabis, hemp, and emerging therapies are available to our communities via safe and quality products and services.
