Overview

Elena Markos is an associate attorney in Vicente LLP’s Corporate Department, based in the firm’s New York City office. Elena is responsible for advising clients in a range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, business formation, corporate regulatory matters, and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Vicente, Elena clerked for the Honorable Lina P. Corriston, J.S.C., in the Civil Law Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, where she handled a wide range of legal issues from employment discrimination to complex commercial contract disputes.

Elena holds a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law with a concentration in Health Law, where she was recognized for her academic excellence in Constitutional Law and her oral argument in Appellate Advocacy. Elena also completed a clinic at Seton Hall's Center for Social Justice, where she advocated for clients on housing matters. Before attending law school, Elena built a successful career in healthcare communications and public relations at top advertising agencies, where she supported Fortune 100 pharmaceutical clients through best-in-class drug approvals, medical conferences, and national public health education programs. Elena earned her B.S. from New York University.
