Overview
Bridgette Nikisher serves as a strategic affairs specialist at Vicente LLP. In this role, she provides strategic guidance on competitive municipal and state licensing applications in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, among other states nationwide. She works with clients to develop and implement strategies to strengthen community outreach, build a coalition, effectively navigate government affairs, and provide analyses on local benefits. Bridgette works closely with Vicente LLP team members and clients to identify business goals, develop overarching strategies for execution, and manage high-value projects.
Bridgette is a graduate of the University of Delaware, holding a B.A. in Italian and a B.A. in Biology. Prior to joining Vicente LLP, Bridgette worked as a research assistant at New York Medical College working on a NASA-funded project utilizing cultured cells exposed to cosmic radiation, set to benefit the future Mars mission. The project mission was to analyze an FDA-approved drug library and identify those which would be protective from the type of cosmic radiation that astronauts are exposed to while in space. She also has extensive research experience in the fields of epidemiology, microbiology, and immunology. Her projects have included working for Columbia University analyzing data from breast cancer patients in the tri-state area and collaborating with New York Medical College to develop a noninvasive diagnostic test for IgA Nephropathy, a disease correlated with the development of kidney cancer.
Bridgette has a B.A. in Italian and a B.A. in Biology from the University of Delaware. She pivoted her career to the legal field upon realizing that her true passion was advocating for others. She is enthusiastic about learning and growing within the cannabis industry alongside Vicente LLP.
