Chief Operating Officer
Dan J. DiResta is the chief operating officer at Vicente LLP. He leads the day-to-day execution of the Firm’s strategy, directly manages the Firm’s business functions, and supports the practice groups, offices, and industry leaders. Dan and the Vicente LLP team have a shared sense of purpose and collaboration to ensure the best results for its industry clients and community. Before joining Vicente LLP, Dan spent many years serving as Chief Operating Officer at both regional and national law firms. Prior to serving in COO roles, Dan specialized in talent management, professional development and strategic planning at an Am Law 100 firm for over a decade.
Of Counsel
Travis Copenhaver is of counsel in Vicente LLP’s Michigan office, where he focuses on cannabis business licensing, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. In his licensing work, Travis advises new and existing cannabis businesses in initiating, developing, and expanding their presence in the Michigan cannabis market. He began his career in cannabis working with one of the key authors of the legislation that became PA 281 of 2016, the Michigan Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act.
Director of Regulatory Compliance
Genevieve is a director of regulatory compliance at Vicente LLP. In this role, she routinely assists clients with understanding complex rules and regulations, helps clients prepare applications and documentation for state and local licensing and permits, and provides insight into operational best practices that meet regulatory requirements while maintaining efficiencies.

Sally manages Vicente LLP's Jacksonville office, where she focuses her practice on corporate law, commercial real estate, hemp and regulatory matters. She has successfully handled numerous cannabis business license acquisitions in Florida, Colorado, and Oregon. In 2018 & 2019, Folio Weekly magazine included her in its list of "Best Marijuana Lawyers" in Jacksonville.
